Information you provide
A quote request may include your name, company or production, email, phone, protection level, selected services, vehicle preference, date(s), pickup, destination, passenger count, days and notes. Please do not include sensitive personal information or information about other people unless necessary and you are authorised to provide it. For stalking enquiries, keep initial notes to the minimum necessary; detailed incidents and sensitive information can be discussed directly.
How and why information is used
Enquiry details are used to respond to your request, prepare a quote and, if you proceed, plan and deliver the requested service. The GDPR bases are taking steps at your request before a contract and performing a contract. Where consent is relied on, you may withdraw it at any time; this does not affect processing already carried out lawfully. A quote request is not consent to marketing.
The online form is not currently connected to email delivery and does not store your enquiry. Until sending is enabled, please contact us directly by email or phone.
Sharing and service providers
Information necessary to arrange your requested service may be shared with the protection operative, chauffeur or partner operator assigned to the job. Website hosting and communications providers may process information to provide their services. We do not sell your personal information.
Service providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where required, transfers must use an applicable adequacy decision or other GDPR safeguards, including standard contractual clauses. Contact us for information about safeguards applicable to your enquiry.
Retention and protection
Personal information should be kept only for as long as needed to handle the enquiry, provide the service and meet applicable legal obligations. Contact us about retention or deletion of your particular enquiry. Access should be limited to those who need the information for these purposes. No internet transmission can be guaranteed completely secure.
Your rights
Subject to GDPR conditions, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your personal data, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. You may withdraw consent where consent is the basis. Contact us using the details above; identity verification may be needed to protect your information. GDPR generally requires a response within one month, with extensions permitted for complex requests.
You may complain to Ireland’s Data Protection Commission, or your local supervisory authority.
Cookies and external links
The essential cookie oakshield-cookie-choice remembers your cookie preference for up to one year. Non-essential cookies are off by default. This site currently sets no analytics or advertising cookies. You can change your choice using Cookie preferences in the footer.
Fonts are requested from Google Fonts; this sends connection information, including your IP address, to Google. Opening WhatsApp or other external links takes you to a separate provider with its own privacy policy.
